Maggie’s Place specialises in hearty, traditional dishes that have a timeless appeal. Personal service is part of the deal and everything is served with big warm, friendly smile such that many of Maggie’s customers have been returning for as long as they can remember.
This year, Maggie’s famous breakfasts are back! Maggie’s Bistro will provide a value-for-money ‘Brunch ‘n Lunch’ session each day starting at 10:30am with breakfast, finishing at 4:30pm & with light snacks, cream teas & cakes from 12:30pm. This will give late arrivals & ‘all-nighters’ a chance to enjoy the best breakfast in the area in a café/brasserie atmosphere.
Maggie is most famous for her signature dish - North Sea cod in a traditional crispy batter, & served with golden chips & mushy peas. Even in the UK, you’d be lucky to find ‘fish & chips’ of such quality. Available in two sizes, the largest is something of a challenge for even the healthiest appetite. The question is … are you up to it? The best of last year’s dishes & the ever popular daily specials will still be there.
Maggie’s Place can be found right in the centre of Roda, immediately opposite the 600 year-old Byzantine church in the old village lane. The perfect location for enjoying one of Maggie’s breakfasts, a snack during the day and an evening meal.
